Broad Street Artists Row

(View Our Auctions)

Established in 1994 as part of Augusta’s revitalization of the historic district along Broad Street, Artists Row is a vital part of the region’s thriving creative community and a favorite destination of people from across the region.

Originally consisting of a small group of artists struggling to bring life into a forgotten part of the city, the organization has grown significantly in order to support its goal to provide broad access to various art forms, to support the growth of the local creative community and to encourage entrepreneurship and partnerships that promote art as a central component of a sustainable urban economy.

Today the impact of Artists Row has grown beyond the confines of the City Center and reaches throughout the entire CSRA, welcoming visitors to experience the beauty and excitement of Downtown Augusta.

While Artist Row galleries and businesses are in themselves an enticing attraction in Downtown, the Artists Row Art Scholarship Program, our Children’s Medical Center Project at the Children’s Hospital of Georgia, the monthly First Friday Gallery Stroll, Paint the Town Art Tourism Packages, the Artists Row Art Experience during local festivals, and our many art events, demonstrations and tours that are free to the public also connect visitors to Richmond County, the City of Augusta and Downtown.

Our members and volunteers are business owners that work daily to help downtown Augusta and Richmond County thrive, as well as community members who strongly believe in the power of the arts to revitalize downtown and positively impact the local economy and community at large.
